Tips on choosing the right design

View the template design's navigation menu and see if it has a horizontal or vertical menu or both. With a horizontal navigation menu, which runs across the top of the website, you will be limited on the number of pages you can have running across the top of the menu as it's limited by width. (E.g. Home, About Us, Services, Products, News, Contact Us.) You can still have as many pages as you want sitting underneath those pages but a design with a horizontal menu is best for you if your business has 3-7 top level pages.

A vertical navigation menu, which runs down the left or right hand side of the website design, is a lot more scalable, therefore, if you need lots of pages to appear in your first level of page navigation, say 7 or more, it would be better if you choose a design that has a vertical navigation menu. Then you can add lots of pages and it won't affect the design, it will merely grow vertically.
