Holmes Sackett Pty Ltd is an agricultural consultancy firm focused on improving farm profit by providing independent business information to the Australian agricultural sector, both primary producers and the agricultural service division.

Holmes Sackett's four key activities are farm benchmarking, farm consultancy, publications and workshops.

Tell us about your old website.

There are so many words you could use to describe our old website … outdated, lacklustre, uninviting, frustrating, and amateurish - to name just a few! I was almost ashamed to direct clients to our website because I didn’t want them to see the substandard that it was.

Why did you decide to build a new website?

We were looking to maintain our professional image by improving how web users saw us (through our website) and keep up with our competitors. We wanted a website that would still be current for years to come. We also wanted to create a website that would allow us to avoid the frustrations associated with our old website.

What made you choose Web123?

Their competition to win a free website! Unfortunately we didn’t win the free website, but we were so impressed by what they offered us that we decided to utilise their skills anyway. Web123 provided us with a quote that was thousands of dollars cheaper than all their competitors, but that also included so much more!

The truth now…was it hard to build your own website?

NO! I built the entire website myself and only received assistance from the Web123 team a handful of times. It’s took me about a month to get it up and running but that is only because of the size of our website and how much of a
perfectionist I am!

How has your new website helped improve your business?

Our new website with Web123 has impressed clients and associates alike and has reinforced that we are a very professional firm. It has allowed us the opportunity to expand our services online and also given us a basis to track the usage of our website.
