The same rule applies when your website is live and you want to make changes to it. You just go to your website, login and make whatever changes you want for free.

Most people should be able to easily complete the first 10 major steps of the building process within a couple of hours. After you’ve built your new website you’ll need to add content into it including your products, text, images and any other content you might need to add. It really depends on the size of your website as to how long it will take to put your content together. Some businesses might have 5 pages and some might have 50 but adding those pages to the website is Easy As.

We have included tips when looking at designs to ensure you choose the right design for your business. If you’re still not entirely sure you can always change template designs even after you build your website without having to add all your content again.

Design & Customisation

We have included tips when looking at designs to ensure you choose the right design for your business. Alternatively, you can answer a few simple questions that will narrow down your choices. While browsing through the designs you can add the ones you like to your ‘Favourites’ and then view your favourites later to decide which one is right for you. If you’re still not entirely sure you can always change designs even after you build your website without having to add all your content again.

It really doesn’t matter if you are a personal trainer and you choose a design that looks like it was designed for the use of an accountant. Once you upload your logo, decide on your colours and change the images, it will look like an expert designed the template especially for you. So long as the basic layout of the template has everything you need and you like the style of the design, there’s so much you can customise it will look like it was designed specifically for you.

No, there will be other businesses out there that choose the same design as you but the important thing to remember is that once you change your colours, text and images – it will be very hard for anyone to notice that any two websites have been produced from the same design.

When you upload your logo to the Web123 website builder, the Logo Colour Matcher will extract the colours from your logo and automatically generate matching colour schemes that will be applied to the design. You can manually adjust the colours with ease but always remember that your website should reflect your corporate colours to reinforce your brand to your customers.

You will need a logo file to use for your Web123 website. We would highly recommend you invest in a good logo to look more established and professional to your target audience anyway. You can create or have a designer create a logo for you as you will be required to upload a JPEG, PNG or GIF logo file in the early stages of the website builder process.

Definitely.  If you want to change the look of your website you can change designs at any time and not lose the content you’ve already added. Everything will simply transfer over into the new design. This is available to do at any time and at no additional cost however we wouldn’t recommend you change it too often. Depending on the configuration of the design you start with you may be restricted to designs incorporating a similar configuration.

When you add a new page you select whether you want it to be a Calendar, Blog, Photo Gallery, List of items or other such page and the builder will create the page accordingly. It will be like you have a library of different page types to choose from each designed to work in with your branding.

The pages you create will be automatically styled with the same colours you chose when you first setup your website and the same fonts used within the design so that your entire website keeps the same look and feel.

No, absolutely not. Unlike other DIY products, Web123 has no limits on the amount of pages or products you can add to your website.

With Web123, you can start your website with 5 products or pages and as your business grows, increase your product range to 500 or even 5000 without having to pay any extra.

Yes. Any images that are part of the design are included in the website when purchased. We also have a professional image gallery available for you to use or you can upload your own images from your computer.

If you can’t find an appropriate professional looking image in our Image Gallery, you can buy image credits through the website builder and browse millions of other professional images to buy and use throughout your website.

Email Marketing

Email marketing is a form of direct marketing which uses electronic mail as a means of communicating commercial or fundraising messages to an audience. In its broadest sense, every email sent to a potential or current customer could be considered email marketing. However, the term is usually used to refer to:

  • sending emails with the purpose of enhancing the relationship of a merchant with its current or previous customers and to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business,
  • sending emails with the purpose of acquiring new customers or convincing current customers to purchase something immediately,
  • adding advertisements to emails sent by other companies to their customers, and
  • sending emails over the Internet, as email did and does exist outside the Internet

People unfamiliar with email marketing often wonder what all the fuss is about. Regardless of how good your product or service is, in reality most visitors to your site won't convert into sales on their first visit.

Research indicates that it takes the average shopper up to nine visits before they'll make a buying decision. In other words, every effective sales process requires an element of repetition.  According to surveys, customers and prospects would prefer to hear from you via e-mail than any other way.

Businesses engage in email marketing because it works. And works well. According to research conducted by the Direct Marketing Association, email marketing generated an ROI of $43.62 for every dollar spent on it in 2009. The expected figure for 2010 is $42.08. As such, it outperforms all the other direct marketing channels examined, such as print catalogues. A good email marketing campaign can help you:

  • Gain Valuable Feedback from your Visitors

  • Drive Web Users to Make Offline Purchases

  • Generate Repeat Sales

  • Increase Your Sales Conversion

  • Up-sell and Cross-sell Products and Services

E-mail marketing is one of the most powerful marketing tools available today. It's easy, affordable, direct, actionable and highly effective. Even if you don’t choose the Web123 Email Marketing feature now, we strongly recommend that you consider it for the future. For just $10 extra per month it’s an extremely cost-effective marketing tool for your business.

Yes, there is a limit of 1,000 emails per month included in your $10 per month Email Marketing ongoing fee. However, if you need to send out more emails for any of your campaigns, you can buy additional blocks of email credits.

Pricing & Ongoing Fees

Hosting is like paying your website’s rent and utilities. Your website must be stored on a web server and it must be transmitted over the internet in order for visitors to see it within their browsers. It’s mandatory if you want your website published on the World Wide Web to pay a hosting company for hosting however, be aware... Not all hosting is the same and if you opt for a ‘cheap’ hosting option, your website may be prone to being hacked and you might be selling Viagra before you know it.

Web123’s ongoings include more than just hosting. With Web123 you get:

  • Your website hosted on our secure servers, ensuring that you won’t get hacked and that yours and your customer’s details will remain safe and secure.
  • Up to 20GB of data transfer per month. This is far more than most customers are ever likely to need. Most small business sites will not need more than 1GB of data transfer per month.
  • Free upgrades to your websites Content Management System so as we add new features and tools, you will have immediate access to use them in your website (some companies continually charge for upgrades).
  • Phone Support so that if you ever get stuck, you can call us 9am-9pm, Monday to Friday and talk to real people. Most DIY website builders won’t even publish a number that you can call – let alone get support - and the few that do offer support will most likely send you a bill you every time you need their help.

Yes, you do have to host your website with Web123 as the software it’s built on is only available on Web123’s servers. You rightfully own all the content you add to the website but if you wanted to have it hosted elsewhere it wouldn’t work as it wouldn’t have access to the software used to build it.

You can cancel at any time if you decide you no longer need the website or you close your business for example. There are no fixed-term contracts so just drop us a line by phone, email or online and we’ll stop billing you and deactivate the website - no questions asked.
